Green-Octant is the software platform that helps Green-ict assessing and following its customers in their Green initiatives.

Green-ict develops its new Green-IT governance platform. Thanks to MRBC's funding, it is now being ported to the WEB fo a further extended use. The platform is aimed at supporting Green-ict (and other advisory firms interested in using SGM2.0 framework) in assessing customers, analysing assessment results and following the evolution of agreed KPIs across running projects.

On a functional point of view, the platform can be sumarized as a simplified GRC platofrm. It is initiallly dedicated to Green-ict's SGM framework but can also be designed to support mutliple frameworks and cross-analyse results.

On a non-functional point-of-view, the choice has been made to use a web-based platform for two main reasons:

• on the one hand, a web platform makes it easier for other advisory firms to perform assessments based on our own framework implementations (customer-related information are not accessible even by Green-ict);
• on the other hand, open the use of our framework to mutliple parties will allow us to produce and publish benchmarks on industries and share trends.
